Beverley Hills 4.5-29 def by North Brunswick 5.3-33

After giving Nth Brunswick a 4.2 goal start in the first qrt the boys dug deep and outscored them the next 2 qrts to set up a gripping last qrt. With our huge bench I thought we would over run them in the last qrt but they, like us, defended grimly to allow both teams to only score 1 point each in the final qrt. While we had our chances to pinch a win in the last qrt full credit must go to Nth Brunswick as they were just to good for us on the day as they were earlier in the season. Congratulations to them for going through to Preliminary final.
While it was a disappointing end to very good season be proud that you gave it your all and that you participated in the finals. Many good teams didn't.
Max Lucas played a fantastic game for his 50th game and Riley Thompson was just outstanding all day. Other good performers on the day were Ethan, Arian, Dylan, Daniel W, Marcus, James and Alex.

Hopefully Sundays result will drive you boys to bigger and better things next season but it won't happen unless you are prepared to train harder and improve your skills whenever you can.
