We started the game knowing that a win would secure a position in the 4 and playing a side that is in the lower half of the ladder.
We let ourselves down early as the Bulldogs showed us that they were not going to be a push over. They led us to the ball most of the day and had they kicked straight we may have been in a bit of trouble.
To our credit we were able to turn it around in the last quarter. We stuck to our game plan of kicking to space and the game opened up. We started winning the ball in the middle and getting first use up forward.
Congratulations on being able to change your game when our backs were to the wall. That shows a fierce desire to win which will be very important in the finals.
We play Warrandyte 2 games in a row now so it is vital that they do not get any advantage this Sunday. Come to play!!!
